555 Contest Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. The 5-5-5 Creator Challenge (“Challenge”) is sponsored by Commentsold Technologies, LLC d/b/a Popstore. (“Sponsor”), located at 2434 Main Street, Ste 201, Santa Monica, 90405.

Contest Overview

Each week, one creator will be selected to receive a $500 Visa gift card (or the equivalent in the winner’s local currency, at Popstore’s discretion) for having the most creative, compelling, or standout Popstore profile. This campaign is designed to encourage creators to build out their Popstore profile.

Challenge Period:

The Challenge begins at 12:01 AM PT on April 8, 2025, and ends at 11:59 PM PT on December 31, 2025 (the “Challenge Period”). One winner will be selected and announced weekly throughout the Challenge Period.

Eligibility:

This Challenge is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia and legal residents of the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Sweden, Australia, Canada, Singapore, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, who are 18 years or older (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction) at the time of entry and who create a new Popstore account on or after April 8, 2025. Existing accounts created prior to this date are not eligible for entry.

Employees of Popstore and its affiliated companies, and their immediate family members or household members of such employees, are not eligible to win.

Void where prohibited or restricted by local law. Entrants are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and tax obligations in their respective jurisdictions, and this Challenge is void in any jurisdiction where participation is prohibited.

How to Enter:

Visit https://get.pop.store and create a new account on or after April 8, 2025. By creating an account, you agree to comply with the Popstore Terms of Service at https://popshoplive.com/terms-of-service/ and Community Guidelines at https://popshoplive.com/terms-of-service/.
Update your Popstore profile & complete all 5 onboarding tasks within 5 days of account creation to showcase your brand, products, and creativity. These tasks are guided within the Popstore platform and include:

Adding an “About You” section
Adding external links to your bio
Setting up subscriptions for your content
Uploading at least 3 one videos for your subscription offering and restricting at least one with a specific subscription type
Adding at least one digital product to your storefront

Once all five tasks are completed within the 5-day window, your profile will be considered eligible for that week’s judging period. Incomplete profiles or those completed after the 5-day window will not qualify.

Popstore reserves the right to verify task completion and disqualify entries that do not meet the outlined criteria, that unfairly attempt to manipulate the Challenge, and that violate Popstore’s Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or any applicable policies.

Judging Criteria:

Each week, a panel of judges selected by Popstore will review eligible profiles and select one winner based on their skill, using the following criteria:

Creativity: Expression of individuality and originality.
Clarity: How well your profile tells your story or showcases your brand.
Engagement Potential: Does the profile encourage interaction or exploration?
Overall Aesthetic: Design, layout, visual appeal.

Judging is subjective and at the sole discretion of the panel. All decisions are final and binding.

Prizes & Winner Notification:

Winners will be announced on the next Monday after each contest week. Each weekly winner will receive a $500 USD Visa gift card (or the equivalent in the winner’s local currency, at Popstore’s discretion), paid via a payment method approved by Popstore. Winners will be contacted via the email address associated with their Popstore account. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be substituted.

Winners in the United States may be required to complete a W-9 form and may receive a 1099-MISC for tax reporting purposes, as applicable, and must comply with all applicable tax requirements.

Winners outside the United States may be required to provide all applicable documentation regarding tax identification.

Popstore will comply with all applicable tax reporting and witholding obligations.

The winner is solely responsible for reporting winnings as required and paying all applicable taxes, duties, customs tarriffs, or other fees imposed by their country of residence or any relevant authorities.

Popstore may require you to agree to these Official Rules in writing to claim your prize.

Publicity:

By entering the Challenge, you grant Popstore the right to use your name, likeness, Popstore profile, and any content submitted as part of the Challenge in promotional materials and communications (including email, website, and social media) without further compensation unless prohibited by law. For residents of the EEA and the UK, such use will only occur with your explicit, informed consent.

RELEASE AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:

BY PARTICIPATING, ENTRANTS AGREE TO RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS POPSTORE, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY, CLAIMS, LOSSES, OR DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF PARTICIPATION IN THIS CHALLENGE OR THE ACCEPTANCE, USE, OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE. EXCEPT FOR FRAUD, WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, NEGLIGENCE, AND PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH RESULTING FROM NEGLIGENCE AND ONLY TO THE EXTENT LIMITED BY LAW, POPSTORE’S ENTIRE LIABILITY WITH RESPECT TO THE CHALLENGE SHALL BE LIMITED TO $500. NOTHING IN THESE OFFICIAL RULES SHALL OPERATE TO EXCLUDE OR RESTRICT ANY LIABILITY WHICH CANNOT BE RESTRICTED BY LAW, NOR RESTRICT ANY STATUTORY CONSUMER RIGHTS.

Right to Modify, Suspend, or Cancel:

Popstore reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Challenge at any time for any reason, including but not limited to fraud, technical issues, or other causes that affect the integrity or proper functioning of the Challenge. In the event of early termination, Popstore may, at its discretion, select winners from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to termination.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution:

This Challenge and these Official Rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without giving effect to its conflict of law rules, except where the laws of the entrant’s country of residence mandate otherwise. For participants residing in the EU/EEA or UK, any disputes arising from or relating to this Challenge shall be governed by the mandatory consumer protection laws and regulations of the participant’s country of residence to the extent those laws are more protective.

For participants resident in the United States, any disputes arising from or relating to this Challenge shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in New York, NY, and entrants consent to the jurisdiction of such courts. For participants outside of the United States, disputes may also be brought in the courts of their country of residence, without limiting any right to bring proceedings in other jurisdictions under applicable law.
